What an amazing trip we had to Scotland – we may have just found our retirement spot! A wonderful friend of ours in Harare was getting married this week and asked if I would do her wedding photos for her so we all traveled up to Edinburgh to hang out for the week. Between all the good food, sites and hanging out together, no one wanted to come home. We were thankful that Sahara did as well as she did on the flights – this was the first time traveling with her where she has not had her own seat so we really did not know how it was going to go, but she surprised us and did amazingly well. So, we just hung out for a week and enjoyed a much needed vacation in a beautiful city.

Loved listening to bagpipes around the city. What a cool city Edinburgh is! Everyone that has been here has told us that it is their favorite international city, and now we know why!
No trip to Scotland would be complete without fish and chips (which J said were the best he has ever had), and Haggis – another traditional Scottish speciality that was surprisingly good…
